ja na takiej pogadance opowiadałam gimnazjalistom dlaczego panowie tańczą w "rajstopkach", panie w paczkach, jak zostaje się tancerzem, jak wyglada dzień pracy tancerza itp. A zaczęłam od tego, ze zapytałam: z czym kojarzy wam się słowo: balet... i jak powiedzieli ze z tańczącymi na palcach w dziwnych sukienkach to już wiedziałam o czym mam mówić ;)
Ciekawostki:
English National Ballet's dancers used 3546 pairs of pointe shoes in 2003.
Each female dancer gets an allowance of up to 10 pairs of pointe shoes per month, costing the Company more than £100,000 per year.
The dancers use pinky-white make-up to matt their shoes and to keep them looking clean. They use the same make-up on their bodies to achieve the white, ethereal look required for Swan Lake or Giselle.
The Company uses one and a half miles of ballet shoe ribbon per year.
The dancers use up to 105 pairs of false eyelashes a year.
Each costume for a full-length production can cost as much as £1500.
